Kindness

We see a multitude of faces every day. Some walking past us, we walking past some. Some taking a hearty laughter. Some frowning over something. Do we ever come to realize that they too have a life as vivid as us? We often don't. We are too preoccupied with our own thoughts.

So many people and as many beating hearts. Each beating for a purpose. Each beating despite some pain. One face, one heart yet so many hardships in their existence. I often try to imagine what a person could be possibly going through. That rogue youth in the alleys, he might never have received mother's love. That girl buying herself ice cream, she may be bullied in school. That man with an irritated face, he might have been just fired from job. Again, these are only made up in my mind.

There are a number of problems that people are facing every day which are beyond our comprehension. You and I can only speculate. Only the ones going through it know what it is like to be in a situation they are caught in.

This is why we must be kind. Be kind every day. Be kind every minute. Be kind every moment. The world needs it.
